This album is an unusual version of the 'Canadian Views and Studies' in that it contains 40 albumen prints instead of the usual 20. The album consists of landscapes in the picturesque style focussing on pastoral scenes, taken in all seasons around Montreal, Quebec City and the Eastern Townships. Three photographs and mounts have been removed from the album and are stored separately in the same box.
