Series consists of loose clippings and copies of newspapers and magazines in which Karsh's photos appeared, as well as several volumes of books in which Karsh's photos were used either for the cover photo or the inside jacket. Some of the printed material documents the use of his photographs in advertizing and also included is a [biscuit] tin lid commemorating the Queen's Silver Jubilee, 1952-1977, illustrated by a Karsh photograph. There are also clippings of articles written by or about Karsh, as well as a small amount of material of personal interest to him. Some of the clippings are mounted in scrapbooks: the earlier scrapbooks also contain some correspondence and original photographs. The scrapbooks dated 1933-1935 and 1937-1938 contain handwritten poems by Duncan Campbell Scott, inscribed to Yousuf Karsh.
