Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition. Labour Relations Branch : The Labour Relations Branch was responsible for establishing and maintaining good labour harmony during the construction period and during the operation of Expo'67. The labour Relations Branch was able to avert numerous strikes and work stoppages by successfully concluding, in 1964, a collective labour agreement between the Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition and the trade councils, unions or union locals. The main clause of the agreement was that the right to strike was renounced by the unions. RG71 General Inventory
