The "Chiefs of the General Council Fire of the Five Nations inhabiting the Grand River" communicate directly with Gore to ask him to bring forward their grievances before the King. They had tried to reach him through William Claus in November 1806. They protest over the sale of land, especially from Block 3, towards the source of the river.
