Image 60.000 x 91.000 cmLanguage of material:EnglishAdditional information:General note:Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Ontario Regional Office. Due to the range of dates, these records are filed according to mixed classification systems, including the earlier Duplex Numeric System (with primaries up to the 200s) and the later Modified Duplex Numeric System (with primaries in the 400s).
Most records are filed as Ontario Regional Office records, or records of one of the many agencies operating in Ontario at the time. Many records are also filed from various Regional Supervisor's Offices, the majority of which are from the Regional Supervisor's Office - North Bay, Ontario (Northern Ontario Region) and the Regional Supervisor's Office - Southern Ontario, Toronto & Ottawa (Southern Ontario Region). However, also found are a few files from the Regional Supervisor's Office - Quebec & New Brunswick (Quebec Regional Office), and the Regional Supervisor's Office - Maritimes (Maritimes Regional Office).
28 maps are also included in the accession. Of these, 22 are photocopies of maps produced by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development itself. The 6 others were mostly produced by the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests or the Canadian Department of Mines and Resources. These 6 are authentic, printed maps.Source:GovernmentFormer archival reference no.:RG10Other accession no.:P168-C09Record disposition authority no.:76/009 -
