See Andrew A. Merrilees : Guide to Finding Aid FA-053, Accession 1980-149. This guide, however, only examines accession 1980-149, as it is the largest and most comprehensive of the Merrilees accessions. 1980-149 contains seven series, all with sub-series or file-level descriptions associated with them.
Note 1: FA-053 includes details on accessions 1980-049, 1971-318 and 1978-216. These are found on various media (microform, electronic, and paper), and include a 98 page Inventory, catalogue of Great Lakes Vessels negatives, partial list of Marine photos in series B and C, sub-series B-II & B-III by location, ship and locomotive names, shelf lists for series B to F, box content list with collection description and research tips.
Note 2: FA-053 also includes lists and descriptions created for loose prints and albums that came in accession BAN 2007-00446-1. This accession is linked to the Andrew Merrilees personal photographic interest series.
Note 3: Additional information relating to the photo collection can be found on original envelopes with captions B-001732 to B-010999 located in containers with barcodes 2000814413-16, 18, 20, 22-23, 25-26, 28, 30, 32, 36-38; and C-006506 to C-02105 in container with barcode 2000814442, 44-51.
