Harper as Prime Minister (PM), and managed by the Prime Minister's Correspondence unit (PMC). Other related documents include greeting cards, brochures, publications, and newspaper clippings sent to Stephen Harper. Incoming correspondence is typically accompanied by multiple drafts of responses. Final versions of replies (i.e. signed and on PM letterhead) are generally not present unless they had been returned as undeliverable. The series testifies eloquently to the relationship between the Prime Minister of Canada and the Canadian population. Topics closely track the major news stories of the time. Thus, the most important news stories of the 2006-2015 period are all present in this series (see details in the description of the different sub-series below).
The series is arranged into five (5) sub-series: PMC Replied; PMC No Reply; PMC Special Messages and Greetings; PMC Mixed Correspondence; and Thank-you letters and write-in campaigns.Additional information:Source:Private
