Sub-sub-series consists of Canadian Army photographs with the prefix P documenting Pacific Command during 1945. Many photographs show the training of "Pacific Force" for the planned-for invasion of mainland Japan. Others photographs relate to the closing phases of the War against Japan, including the surrender ceremonies in August 1945, and the repatriation of Canadian Prisoners of War held captive since the Dec. 1941 Fall of Hong Kong.
