This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of June 2014.
It includes photographs of Stephen Harper's trip to Europe, where he visits Warsaw, Poland, Brussels, Belgium, Normandy, France, and Kyiv, Ukraine (June 3-7). In Warsaw, he meets with Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, and Bronislaw Komorowski, President of Poland, and celebrates the Polish Day of Freedom (June 4). In Brussels, he attends the G-7 Leaders' Summit where he meets with José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, and French President François Hollande (June 4-5). He also visits the Bény-sur-Mer cemetery in Normandy, France to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, and attends the National Ceremony of Remembrance in Ouistreham, France (June 6). In Kyiv, Ukraine he attends Petro Poroshenko's swearing-in ceremony as the new President of Ukraine (June 7).
The sub-sub-series also shows Stephen Harper's meetings with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott (June 9) and with Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil on Parliament Hill (June 17).
