This album contains photographs depicting the development of the North American Boundary between Canada and the United States in 1872-1875. These prints are of the photographs from the comprehensive report that was prepared for Lord Carnarvon in 1876 by Major D.R. Cameron regarding the activities of the North American Boundary Commission.

This album has been physically separated into two separate albums in two boxes, but they contain photographs from the same report., Some of the photographs from the album have been described and are attached to this album.
