Series consists of letters of family correspondence between Mr. Yanda and his parents, siblings and other relatives in Ukraine, Poland, United States and Canada from 1911 to 1969.

There are also correspondence letters from friends and colleagues from the Ukrainian Canadian communities. These include notable people like, John Hnatyshyn, Rev. S.W. Sawchuk, General Sikevich, John Yatchew, Mykola Zalozetsky, A. Novak, and many others.

Of particular note are Joseph Megas' correspondence letters during his time in Paris, France with the Paris Peace conference and the League of Nations in 1919.

There is also a large collection of postcards and greeting cards from family and friends during Mr. Yanda's life.
