The series includes documents produced or received by Albert Chartier over the course of his activities as creator of the Onésime comic strip. It includes correspondence about publication of the Onésime comic album and television performances by the artist. The series also includes pay stubs from the Bulletin des agriculteurs and a contract between Albert Chartier and Rogers Media, owner of the Bulletin.
The art features original panels of English versions of Onésime, including Cornelius and Uncle Toby. It also includes sketches for the cover of an Onésime comic album, and various other works representing the character and his wife, Zénoïde.
The photographs show two actors playing Onésime and Zénoïde. They appear in an outdoor scene and posing with Albert Chartier.
The videocassette includes a recording of the Ordre national du mérite agricole (OMNA, Quebec order of merit for agriculture) banquet where Albert Chartier received the farm communicator award (from the Quebec ministry of agriculture, fisheries and food). The editor-in-chief of the Bulletin des agriculteurs, Sylvie Bouchard, accepted the award on Mr. Chartier's behalf. The artist's recorded telephone thank-you speech was played.
