The accession consists of general administration records from Correctional Service Canada. Among the records, we can find a wide range of topics including the following: organizations and administration, acts and legislation, private associations and societies. It also consist of operational files of various penal institutions concerning inmate custody, rehabilitation, training, and related matters.
Boxes 143 to 148 are exclusively records of block 3220 (Information and Intelligence-Individuals, Groups, Events) This block is made up of records on individuals, groups, organizations and events which are considered to have intelligence significance in the maintenance and good order within an institution.
Boxes 202-203 are files related to health care policies and procedures. Also included: outside services, dentistry, medical, nursing, psychiatry and special cases. Records on the development of contingency plans for emergency health care situations and infectious diseases are among the files.
