Collection search - Transcripts of proceedings and exhibits for various committees for the years 1972 and 1982 [textual record, graphic media]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Canadian Transportation Commission, predecessor of the Canadian Transportation Agency. The majority of these records document hearings held before various boards of the Commission for the year of 1982. Records include transcripts of proceedings and evidence exhibits. Exhibits can vary in type from reports, forms, brochures, and photographs, to large poster-boards covered in maps, graphs, or other illustrative material. Exhibit posters exist for one case held in 1972, case A-14/72.

Case numbers found on the finding aid have an attached prefix that identifies the Committee a particular case went to for consideration. 'A' refers to the Air Transport Committee, 'C' refers to the Commodity Pipeline Transport Committee, 'MV' refers to the Motor Vehicle Transport Committee, 'R' refers to the Rail Transport Committee, 'Rev.' refers to the Review Committee, and 'W' refers to the Water Transport Committee.
