General Note:

Accession consists of registry files received from the Department of Communications (DOC) relating to telecommunications operations. Most of the files were previously maintained by the Telecommunications and Electronics Branch of Transport Canada (who had this function prior to 1969) but have been brought forward into DOC's file classification system.

Records consist of but are not limited to: meeting minutes and correspondence of the Emergency National Telecommunications Organization (ENTO) and the Canadian Overseas Telecommunications Corporation (COTC).

This accession is under review. Some records can be found in R1203, volumes 684-687, 690-692, and 719 attached to their respective series.
