The accession consists of records created and maintained by Canada Post Corporation. The accession contains records from Canada Post transfer 44 relating to the production of philatelic issues released from 1999 to 2007.
Philatelic material includes digital and paper design files, and research binders for 2004-2006 stamp issues, including but not limited to: Youth Sports, Olympic Soccer, Ramon John Hnatshyn, Nobel Peace Prize, Santa Clause Parade, Lilacs.
Original extent included original artwork for Big Cats (13 Oct. 2005), Flower Definitives (19 Dec. 2006), Year of the Dog (6 Jan. 2006) and Duck Decoys (3 Aug. 2006) that has been processed to permanent under R169, volumes 4061--4062; 4069; 4072.
Original extent also included press proof sheets for the following stamp issues: YMCA (8 Nov. 2001), Governor Generals (1 Feb. 2002), Jean-Paul Lemieux (22 Oct. 2004), Port Royal (16 Jul. 2005), Acadian Deportation (15 Aug. 2005), Big Cats (13 Oct. 2005), Flags (19 Dec. 2005), Year of the Dog (6 Jan. 2006), Canadian Forces Snowbirds (28 Jun. 2006), Atlas of Canada (30 Jun. 2006), Opera (17 Oct. 2006), Christmas (1 Nov. 2006), and Lilacs (1 Mar. 2007).
