- The records in this accession consist of selected offender case files. Upon entering a correctional facility, the offender is given a unique identification number and a file is created; this file follows the offender from institution to institution. The files contain a variety of documentation on the various aspects of his/her incarceration, including the administration of the sentence (admission and discharge), interaction within the institution (conduct and behaviour), medical and pyschological treatment, education and training.
