General Note:

This accession contains records of the State Ceremonial Branch of the Secretary of State. The records include state ceremonial policy, proclamation of the National Anthem and the installation of three Governor Generals, Michener, Léger and Sauvé. The majority of the records pertain to Royal visits by various members of the Royal Family from the 1950s-1990s. Related to this accession are five boxes of photograph albums which have been accessioned separately. Please see accession 1995-066 (Mikan 20885) for information about the photographs.
