Central registry files of the Western Region [textual record]

This accession contains files pertaining to the management of various National Parks falling under the responsibility of the Calgary regional office of the Canadian Parks Service, including Jasper, Banff, Yoho, Revelstoke, and notably records pertaining to Elk Island dating from its official designation as a National Park in 1930. Other records include but are not limited to the following: camp sites, forest fires, logging permits, visitor statistics, etc., Since 2010, archival records are held at the Regional Service Centre in Winnipeg.
