"This map shows Quebec as it was at the time of the Conquest and some of the land beyond the walls. Fortifications and buildings are shown and the major ones are named in an index. The map appears to be a transcript of a map held by the British Museum and bears number "B.M. cxix. 36." The LAC holds two very similar maps which date shortly after this map. This map has been roughly drawn. The other copies give better details."
