Acquisition documentation file contains a listing of the urban centres studied within the Land and Infrastructure Mapping Program. The file also contains two articles describing the background and methodology of the program.

Accession transferred in April 1990 from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

Original extent note:

Originally received ca. 150 maps and 29 reports in book format. A review of the cartographic material showed 144 maps. The reports were transferred after 1990 to RG56M, accession #86703-39.

Dates of creation taken from correspondence, dated 24 Jan. 1990, within the acquisition documentation file. The dates correspond to the duration of the program.
