MS. List of items to be discussed at the audience no. 5 of 23 February 1823. Item no. 15 deals with Newfoundland. [In his letter of 6 October 1822; see C 110], the vicar apostolic in Newfoundland [Scallan] asks for faculties, and to be allowed to bless the sacred oils with the assistance of those priests he may easily convene. Signed by Pedicini. The Pope approves. [The balance of this item deals with Holland, Ireland, Belgium, Collegio Urbano, France, Germany, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Malabar]. Bs: fol. 154rv-155r.
