sketchbook: "Sketches by Major Seton", folio 10 verso, glued to the page. This sketchbook was paginated by the artist. This is page: 20., The former city of Saint-Boniface founded in 1818 by Bishop Provencher, is the capital of French Manitoba. It is the historical centre of the French-Canadian and Métis communities in Western Canada.
