Series consists of travel and student memorabilia, awards, a commonplace book, biographical material, agenda books containing reproductions of Tobie Steinhouse's work, and other material. Steinhouse's Paris experiences are documented with images from Hungarian artist Arpad Szenes's studio and receipts from Atelier 17, as well as other memorabilia. The series also includes photocopies of photographs Steinhouse took when she visited the Belsen concentration camp after the war, along with her captions.

The commonplace book is titled "Words...words...words...words" and includes quotations from sources ranging from Joni Mitchell to Marianne Moore, Beaudelaire to George Woodcock. Included are comments by Herbert Steinhouse on Tobie Steinhouse's art, and by Louis Dudek on Anne Hébert. There are notes on Japanese traditions and on the Portuguese artist Vieira da Silva, a close friend. There are lists of poems by Miriam Waddington, relating to their collaboration. Note that there are four pencil and pen sketches by Tobie Steinhouse at the back of the book: they are all sketches from trips to Prince Edward Island. The medallic object is a 1938 medal awarded to Steinhouse for scholastic achievement by the Montreal Protestant Board of School Commissioners.
