Canada. Dept. of National Defence. J6. Communications : J6 - Copmmunications is the organization within National Defence Headquarters that is responsible for the planning, control and coordination of Canadian Forces communications, computer network operations, and support for signals intelligence. From 1990 to 1995 J6 was within the Canadian Forces Communications Command (CFCC). With the disbandment of CFCC the responsibility passed to the Information Management Group under the authority of the Assistant Deputy Minister, (Information Management) (ADM(IM)).
