Western Canada Airways Limited : Western Canada Airways Ltd. was formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, by James A. Richardson in 1926. This company, in turn, merged with Aviation Corporation of Canada in 1930 to form Canadian Airways Ltd., which itself later merged into Canadian Pacific Air Lines in 1942.
