Fonds consists of sound recordings of interviews with Ukrainian Canadians chronicling many aspects of Ukrainian culture in Canada including the history of the community, religion, language, education, art, business and media. The interviews were conducted as part of the Multicultural Media Skills Development Project. Also included are textual records relating to SUSK. Photographic material documents various aspects of Ukranian student life and activity including: SUSK (Ukrainian Canadian University Students' Union) Moloda Ukraina choir; Montreal SUSK's Ukrainian Week, 1957; exhibition of political killings in Russia; Ukrainian churches and religious activities; musical presentations; 10th SUSK Congress in Vancouver, British Columbia, 1969; political demonstrations; opening of Holy Spirit Seminary in Ottawa, Ontario; Howard and Mrs. Pauley with T.C. Ukrainian Canadian University Students' Union : The Ukrainian Canadian Students' Union (SUSK) is a national student organization comprised of post-secondary Ukrainian student organizations from institutions across Canada. The goal of SUSK is "to advocate concerns relevant to Ukrainian Canadian students". The SUSK is not aligned with any church or religious organization.
