Toronto, Niagara and Western Railway Company : This Canadian Northern sponsored company was incorporated as the Toronto and Hamilton Railway Company under Dominion Act, 3 Edward VII, Cap. 196 of 24 October 1903 to construct a railway between Toronto and Hamilton. On 26 June 1906 the name was changed to the Toronto, Niagara and Western Railway Company. Although much of the right of way was acquired, no construction was undertaken and, while still a legal entity, the company is inactive. Canadian National Realties, Limited took over remaining properties on 31 October 1933. RG30 General Inventory
