Prince Edward County Railway Company : The Prince Edward County Railway Company was incorporated on 29 March 1873 under Ontario Act, 36 Vic., Cap. 73 to construct a railway from Picton, Ontario, to a point on the Grand Trunk Railway near Trenton. This 32.13 mile line from Picton to Trenton Junction was completed and opened for traffic on 27 October 1879. In 1882 it became the property of American mineral interests and was reorganized as the Central Ontario Railway. RG30 General Inventory
