Series consists of a wide variety of miscellaneous land sale account records. The series contains accounts and statements of cash received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands for sale of Indian lands, 1830-1842 (Vols. 668-669, 671); as well as a record book of lands of the Huron Reserve sold on account of the Wyandotte Indians and other tribes, 1837-1844 (Vol. 705). Volumes 668, 669 and 671 contain an index. Also included is an account book of land sales, Mississauga and Chippewa Indians, 1837-1855 (Vol. 770); as well as other miscellaneous accounts for other tribes, 1838-1874 (Vol. 771); cash accounts for land sales, St. Regis, Saugeen, Alnwick, Sarnia, Bay of Quinte, Credit and Anderdon, 1844-1858; cash book of returns for land sales of various tribes, 1846-1858 (Vol. 676); cash accounts for land sales, Chippewas of Lakes Huron and Simcoe, of the Thames, Walpole Island, the Scugog Band of Rice and Mud Lakes, and of the Moravian Indians, 1845-1859; as well as a general cash account of funds for Indians (Vol. 674); and accounts with the Chippewas of Lakes Huron and Simcoe, the Mississaugas of River Credit, the Six Nations of Innisfil and East Hawkesbury, the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and with the Receiver General (Vol. 675). Volumes 673, 674 and 771 contain an index. Volume 683 contains an account book of land funds of the various tribes in Canada East and Canada West and is indexed internally.
The series also includes an account book of receipts from various agents across Ontario from the sale of Indian lands, 1867-1875 (Vol. 773) as well as files relating to reserve lands in Manitoba, maps and plans of reserves in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario, 1830, 1867-1970 (Vols. 11029-11037).
