134 drawings: pencil, pen and ink; various dimensions.Language of material:EnglishScope and content:Fonds consists of transcribed correspondence of Sir Henry Acland while on tour in North America with the Prince of Wales in 1860 and correspondence regarding the higher education of Oronhyatekha and letters from him. In addition there is microfilmed correspondence from Acland to his wife, describing his tour of Canada with the Prince of Wales, 1860. This material is located on microfilm reel A-1721. There is also correspondence to Acland, microfilm reel A-2081, regarding the education of an aboriginal student.
Fonds also consists of 7 volumes kept by Dr. Acland while chief physician to the Prince of Wales during his tour to North America in 1860.
