He served with the 84th Regiment as Captain and Paymaster from 1775 until its disbandment in 1783. His son, Simon Fraser (1769-1844) was licenced to practice medicine in 1792, and served with the 42nd Regiment, with the rank of Lieutenant for some years.Additional information:General note:Received in 1933 and 1935 from Mme Hector Prévost, née Alice Fraser, of Rivière-du-Loup. Volume 34 composed of material, chiefly concerning the 84th Regiment, was received in 1935 and 1945; a few additional items were received in 1971 and 1972.Custodial history:Volume 16 was for a time held by P.V.
