Its name, spirit and beginnings are derived from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, originally founded in Britain to relieve suffering in Europe during World War Two. Oxfam does not administer projects overseas. Instead, projects of private, religious, indigenous or international agencies already "Operational" in the field are reinforced or expanded. Priorities are agriculture, technical training, preventive medicine and family planning.Finding aid:Textual records (Electronic) The finding aid is a list of file titles. MSS1099 (90: Open)
