Fonds consists of a three volume work entitled the Gimli Saga, prepared in 1973 by the Gimli Women's Institute including such topics as history, studies and notable citizens. It is a socio-economic history of Gimli, Manitoba, concerned with the historyof the Gimli Women's Institute and the Icelandic pioneers as well as various aspects of life in the community and a pictorial chapter, "Gimli Today". This material is located on microfilm reels M-3194 and M-3195.

Gimli Women's Institute : The Gimli Saga, a description of the socio-economic history of Gimli Manitoba and district, in three volumes of which half is text and the other half is illustrations. It was prepared in 1973 by the Gimli Women's Institute, established in 1917.
