Fonds consists of correspondence relating to the business of the club, 1958-1962, 2.5 cm; minute books, 1918-1937, 1956-1959, 7.5 cm; newsletters, 1924-1932, 1934-1954, 10 cm; scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings relating to the activities of the Club and the members, 1916-1939, 1946-1967, 47.5 cm; and clippings and articles relating to the visit to Canada of an Indian journalist, Amita Malik, and WPC pamphlets, 1959, 1961, 1968, 2.5 cm.

Canadian Women's Press Club Ottawa Branch : The Canadian Women's Press Club was formed in June 1904. It was the national association of Canada's professional women writers and illustrators designed to help, and promote, its members in their profession, and to encourage and promote high standards within the profession. In 1971, the CWPC opened its membership to men, and changed its name to the Media Club of Canada Inc.
