Physically separated in 1979 from John Cartwright, "Remarks on the situation of the Red Indians, natives of Newfoundland; with some account of their manner of living: together with such descriptions as are necessary to the explanation of the sketch of the country they inhabit, taken on the spot in the year 1768. 13th Jan. 1773".
Report dedicated "To the Right Honourable Henry Earl of Dartmouth this manuscript is presented, in a full reliance on his Lordship's indulgence to its many imperfections, and with sentiments of the trust respect & deference by His Lordship's mose obedient humble servant. John Cartwright. 13th January 1773."
