Discoloured at edges., Terrapin Tower here visible dates 1833-1873. (Porter, A.P., p. 40-42) and Biddle Stairs on Goat Island was built 1829 (Porter, Official Guide, p. 53). The staircase to left of American Falls appears on Bouchette's map dated 1832 (see de Volpi, pl. 16). Date subject to change.
