Series consists of photographs and postcards from the University of Ottawa Libraries Collection. Photographs depict: views of Quebec, and Cairo, Egypt; exhibition at St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal; marking the 300th anniversary of the founding of Montreal, 1895-1942; views of British Columbia including railroad construction, bridge building, street scenes, mining, carting, side and stern wheelers, 1894-1896; Philadelphia, Pa.; Langeais, Waterloo, Marseille, Amiens, Bruges, and Orleans, France; Shawinigan Engineering Co.; stereo views of the United States, Japan, Windsor, England, Canada, Palestine, and Syria, and several unidentified portraits, 1896-1944; views of A.P. Low's expedition to the Arctic, 1902-1904; portraits of Inuit and expedition members; trappist's digging a grave, Quebec, 1890; the Wakeham expedition to Hudson's Bay, 1897; and views of North Bay, Ont. and of Quintland, birthplace of the Dionne quintuplets. Also included is one album of postcards of Canadian views and military subjects, and one greeting card.
