Fonds consists of a letterbook of correspondence of W.G. Walton and his superior in England, the Rev. B. Baring-Gould. These letters describe conditions in the Great Whale River and Fort George districts, describe the Eskimos' and Indians' difficulties and the attempts of the Church to ameliorate conditions there.
