Fonds consists of a diary, recording the termination of Kuper's service as Assistant Commissary General at Chambly, Lower Canada, a visit to Hanover and his employment as an agent for Caldwell's Manor in Chambly, kept from 1816-1819; and genealogical notes and records extending to 1856.

The fonds also consists of photographs of Dr. Morson's home at Niagara-on-the-Lake; Laura Maud Morson; Judge Frederick Montye Morson; Georgiana Florence Morson; Georgiana Mary Ann Kuper; and Matilda Eliza Ann Kuper.

Kuper, Augustus, 1781-1847 : August Kuper was born in 1781. He was deputy Assistant Commissary General at Montreal 6 November 1812; acting Assistant Commissary General 12 August 1813; and Assistant Commissary General 21 October 1813. Kuper was twice appointed secretary to the Chambly Canal, first 28 November 1831 and the second time 28 December 1838. He was also appointed Registrar for Chambly County 28 August 1838. He had been granted land in Roxton Township 2 March 1835 and in Ely Township 17 July 1837. Kuper died 15 October 1847. From the fonds.
