II; anecdotes relating to the war-time period; Salsberg's arrest in 1942, and his experiences in the Don Jail, and finally, the change of Party name; life in the Don Jail; his relations with the Governor of the Don Jail and with the guards; the Jail Reform Committee and the prison reforms arising from the Committee findings, and, conditions in the "bull pens" at Toronto police stations and city courts.
