Also discussed are: details of the incident of 1916, in which Mr. Fitzpatrick was almost ousted from his Frontier College position; the Riggs Commission and its criticism of the Bennett relief camps, and the relationship between Dr. Bradwin and Mr. Fitzpatrick. Ms. Lucas talks some more about Mr. Fitzpatrick and Dr. Bradwin. She refers to Mr. Fitzpatrick's early life and family; the impact of Dr. Grant of Queen's University on his thinking, and also, his interview and selection of young instructors. In addition, Dr. Bradwin's early association with Frontier College is addressed, especially his roles as instructor and inspector and his writing of, "The Handbook for New Canadians".
