Series documents the operation of consulting firm Paul Audley & Associates Ltd (PAA). Series includes correspondence with customers and clients who commissioned studies from PAA, proposals by PAA for potential studies, correspondence with arts and entertainment organisations, PAA financial records, and Paul Audley's work on articles and presentations.

Series also includes Paul Audley's files that document revisions to his book "Canada's cultural industries: broadcasting, publishing, records and film." (The first edition was published in 1983; the revision was written in 1990s. The revised draft was not published. The revised draft version appears to be unfinished.)

Series also includes reports that were acquired and used by Paul Audley, files documenting his university teaching (1983-2012), and articles from The Globe and Mail where Paul Audley is quoted or mentioned (1977-1996).
