Lillie, Beatrice, 1894-1989 : Comedian, signer and the "Funniest Women in the World", Beatrice Lilly, was born in Toronto on 29 May 1894.

Beatrice went to Loretto Academy in Toronto and St Agnes' College in Belleville, Ontario. Before leaving for England in 1914, Beatrice, along with her mother, Lucy Ann Shaw, and sister Muriel (pianist), formed the Lillie Trio.

It is in England that Beatrice made her stage debut at the Chatham Music Hall. She later made her London debut in The Daring of Diane.

She married Sir Robert Peel (1898-1934) in 1920. They had a son, Booby, who died in 1942.

At the age of 73, in 1967, she performed in her last film Thoroughly Modern Millie.
In 1973, she wrote her memories and published her autobiography Every Other Inch a Lady.

Beatrice died in Henley-on-Thames, England, on 20 January 1989.

Cary Musgrave, Josephine, 1905-1987 : Sculptor Josephine Cary was born ca.1905 in Columbius, Ohio. She studied sculpture under Carl Miles at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art and in Rome, Italy.

She served with the American Red Cross during World War II, teaching art to wounded servicemen in the Washington D.C. area.

She married Percy Musgrave, a dairy farmer, and lived in Linwood Farm in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Her husband died in 1973 and Josephine sold their home and 40 acres to the Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, in 1983.

Cary died in 1987.
