Fonds consists of photographs, prints of multiple processes, and a drawing that span the nineteenth century in Eastern Ontario and Eastern Canada. The photographs document: Ottawa scholasticate centre for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate; East Block Parliament Buildings (photos by J.B. Dorion, Elihu Spencer); Bonsecours Church, Bank of Montreal, Notre Dame Church, Viger Park, Nelson Monument, Montreal from St.Mary's College, Notre Dame Street, Ottawa Hotel, St.Andrew's Church, Victoria Square, Place d'Armes, Sir Hugh Allen's residence, St.James Street; Notre Dame Street from McGill Street, Great St.James Street, Maple Sugar in province of Quebec, hunting campment; Cape Trinity from Saguenay River; Group of Inuit at the World's Fair; Canada Agricultural Hall - interior view, International Exhibition, Philadelphia, 1876; interior view of cotton weaving room; Third Bridge to three Sister Islands, Niagara, Ont.; (photos by J.G. Parks, William Notman, Alexander Henderson, Love, B.W. Kilburn); a photo by William M. Munro of Pictou, N.S. from the harbour; engraved calligraphic exercise entitled "On the Crucifixion of our Saviour, 1823" by the engraver James Smillie Jr. of Quebec; caricature drawing showing "The Triumphant Return of our Dear Lamb from Toronto to Kingston Sunday 10th March 1844" signed by EBE; and four views of the Cascades, St. Lawrence River, Lake Nicolet, Eastern Townships, and Rideau Canal, by Unknown artist 162; a watercolour by F.D. (possibly Amelia Frederica Dyneley, entitled "Crane Island", which is in the St. Lawrence, 35 miles ENE of Quebec City, which was the seigneury of James Macpherson Lemoine at the time; and a caricature print about Lord Elgin entitled "Yoicks Stole Away Stole Away" pertaining to the Rebellion Losses Bill by Joseph Welch.

Joseph Welch (active 1849-1853) was a Montreal wood engraver and lithographer; F.D. may be Alicia F. Dyneley but the attribution is very uncertain.
