A speech by William Kashtan, national leader of the Communist Party of Canada, addressing a special British Columbia provincial convention of the Communist Party in Vancouver. Kashtan defends the recent Soviet intervention into Czechoslovakia and chastise these within the Canadian Party who left as a result of the Soviet invasion. Topics include: revisionism within the C.P. of Canada; national self-determination versus international socialist ideology; and the question of democracy within the Communist movement.
