The fonds consists of records pertaining to the musical activities of Henri K. Jordan: scrapbooks containing press clippings and concert programmes of the Schubert Choir conducted by Jordan; letters from Percy Grainer, Alex Mackenzie, F.H. Torrington and H. Coward; diploma; photographs of Henri K. Jordan and of groups.

Jordan, Henri K. (Henri Kew), 1880-1949 : Choirmaster, organist, cornet player and manufacturer born in Seaforth, Ontario. Jordan studied piano and organ at the Toronto College of Music, and became a cornet player for the 48th Highlanders of Canada. A church organist in Toronto, Winnipeg and Goderich, he also conducted the Brantford Male Choir from 1903. In 1906 when the choir mixed, Jordan changed its name to the Schubert Choir.
