This collection consists of timetables relating primarily to Canadian National Railways, but also to Canadian Pacific Railway. They cover the latter half of the 20th century and are for various operational regions of the country.

Most of the timetables relate to CN, and these date .from 1961-1993, although there are a few from the mid-1990s to 2012. These are in volumes 1-7. The timetables for CPR are mostly for a later time period, from the late 1980s-2008, although there are some from 1967-1985, and a few from the late 1950s. These are in volumes 7-11.

There are also a few miscellaneous timetables for other railway companies, such as BC Rail.
