Ron makes some announcements; welcomes children from Cayuga immersion school; Arnie comments how good it is to see so many young people; and Richard advises people not to be ashamed of who they are; Jake Thomas begins to speak about being thankful and giving thanks; describes where various people came from, a little about the Six Nations; comments on oral tradition and lack of written constitution in Britain; summarizes what was said previously about wampum strings and wampum belts; comments that young people need to learn as much as they can while there are still elders around and that elders have the responsibility to teach; comments on how to be generous and not judge others because judging is not the good mind.~Gives summary of Hiawatha's sorrow and how the Peacemaker brought him back to the good mind; tells of wampum belts and principal fire; comments on how elders and young people are responsible to teach and to learn about the Great Law and the traditions; comments on culture, language, the clans and clan system; comments that the GREAT LAW tells how people are to live, importance of treating each other with respect; summarizes sympathy strings; tells tradition of doing things three times; Peacemaker does not answer the invitation to come to the village b/c the Great Leader has not made the invitation with wampum; later it is called the legal invitation.~Jake Thomas talks about fake wampum and the power of real wampum; picks up the story of Hiawatha being invited to the village by legal invitation (wampum); Hiawatha relates the story of Peacemaker bringing news of peace power and righteousness; tells of Peacemaker coming back and runners being sent to invite him to the village; essentially a summary of the Great Law so far; Certain people were filmed during the break, including Wray Anderson (?) who translates an Ecuadorian man who discusses the prophesy that Great Law and Condor meet every 50 yrs.
