Food budgeters will tell you it's low in cost as well. If you've been having trouble cutting the rutabaga here's the best way to do it. With a sharp knife slice off the rutabaga top, this provides a flat surface for further cutting. With the flat surface down on the cutting board, cut several slices from the sides. Now you have two flat surfaces. Put the second flat surface down and complete the cutting of the rutabaga slices.
